AVO DONE - MENU
A. Bread Surprise Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 Large Round Loaf of French Bread
- 1 Small Lettuce,
- 125g Cured Ham,
- 125g Cheddar Cheese,
- 3 Hard-boiled Eggs,
- 1/2 cup Carbonell Black Olives,
- 1 Onion,
- 1 Carrot,
- 100g Corn,
- 1 cup Celery,
- 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes
Dressing:
- 3/4 cup Carbonell Olive Oil,
- 4 teaspoons Carbonell Wine Vinegar,
- 1 Clove, Crushed Garlic,
- Salt, & Ground Black Pepper
Slice top of bread loaf lengthwise, scoop out some of the bread. Cover inside with lettuce leaves. If bread dries, spread some mayonnaise under lettuce. Dice ham and cheese. Cut carrots into julienne strips. Cut onion into rings. Chop celery in fine strips. Cut eggs in fours, leaving some for top garnishing.
Combine all ingredients in a salad-bowl, and add dressing already mixed. Set salad in bread loaf.
